At WFWM, public radio from Frostburg State University, we pride ourselves on being “always good company.” Our slogan has never been more important or apparent than this past year. When the pandemic hit, our radio station staff worked diligently to keep all of your favorite NPR shows and our original programming on our airwaves. We heard from many of you thanking us for staying on the air, staying positive and staying steadfast in these uncertain times.
Last year, your generous donations to WFWM helped us purchase a much-needed generator that literally kept us on the air. Thank you. This year, as we strived to work safely in the era of COVID, we quickly learned of some difficulties in remotely running our station. We ask that you consider a holiday gift to the radio station for the purchase of much-needed technical equipment and updated software so we can keep WFWM broadcasting both in the good and in the more challenging times.
At this time of year, we like to remember and give thanks for you, our supporters. It comforts us to know that you are out there listening. We promise to remain always good company.
THANK YOU! Because of our listeners' generosity, we reached (and exceeded) our goal for our recent fund drive. WFWM will now be able to purchase equipment and software that we will allow us to safely record and produce our programs. Your generosity is a big part of what keeps WFWM Always Good Company!802 days ago by Kathleen McGreevy
