Send Our Students to Model OAS
Play an invaluable role in supporting FSU students in Washington, D.C. as they participate in the Washington Model Organization of American States. Our thirteen students will represent Grenada in March 2018 and, as its diplomats, propose solutions to the region’s problems including corruption, illiteracy, and prosperity for all. This three credit course gives our students real world experience in diplomacy, problem solving, and the chance to meet the Grenadian Ambassador, OAS officials, and their peers from across the United States and the Western Hemisphere including Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, and Venezuela.
Your contribution would help to defray student hotel and food expenses; despite generous giving in the past from the Political Science Department, the FSU Foundation and the President’s Experiential Learning Fund, those funds do not cover all costs. Your donation would enable our bright and talented students, regardless of their financial status, to participate in this transformational program.
