PAWS Pantry is fundraising $4,500 during the 2026 Season of Giving campaign to provide resources to FSU students. The pantry provides students with food (both perishable and non-perishable goods) as well as cleaning, hygiene, and menstrual products.
Loofbourrow and Scherr (2023) found that colleges estimate between 19% and 56% of students face food insecurity. We also know that hunger negatively impacts academic performance. After all, it's hard to focus when your stomach is growling. FSU students are no exception. PAWS Pantry has distributed over 106,000 pounds of food since October 2018 with over 12,300 visits. On average, we spend over $1,000 a month to keep our shelves stocked.
Your donation helps us to keep providing these resources on which our students rely. We can't do their homework for them, but we can make sure they don't have to do it on an empty stomach.
